Frames
I love the gardening welcome project, I was wondering if the frame is available. I have a very hard time framing finished projects and would love to buy frames when I buy a kit.

Hi there.

I believe that you have to do 2 separate orders because I believe that ECS do not sell this particular frame. Call Imaginating and ask them about this particular frame. U can get the no. from google and U have to buy everything from the this site so U don't have to do multiple trips to this store. Have fun

I have found a fair priced online source for frames at Art to Frame at arttoframe.com
They even have odd sizes. You can also do an internet search for custom frames when you complete the project and have the exact size that you need. Framing at home requires an initial investment, unless you know someone who can do woodwork and can accurately cut 45 degree angles for the corners. Then you need foam core acid free board and stainless steel pins to stretch your fabric straight over the board. I live in a rural area, but am lucky that we have two independent frame shops and my favorite framer now works at Michaels frame shop. I would not recommend Michaels because of complaints and disasters in other locales, but our Michaels has James, a talented framer.

If you find this particular frame, I would LOVE to hear where you got it! I finished this kit some time ago and it was so easy and enjoyable. Not my current "style", but the frame pictured grabbed my attention and I would gladly re-frame it with this frame...or a similar frame. My DD has it in her entry on the back of her front door, but the frame is a little less rustic than I originally wanted...if anybody finds it...PLEASE "HOLLER"! :)
