Fabric
Hello, It states that this is stitched on Aida Antique White - yet the background looks very dark. Is the entire background stitched? Is there a way I can see the pattern?

Hello,

Mystic Stitch patterns are cover all patterns so you can choose to use any color or type of fabric that you wish to. The entire background is stitched with the DMC colors of 646, 414 and 317 so the background is more of a grayish brown color? Hope this helps :) Thank you!

Or, if you love, love, love the design, but don't want as complicated a project, just stitch the snowman without the background designs on any fabric color you like. Be sure to keep the thread count the same, or the finished size will change. (Or live with a smaller or larger item) The finished effect won't be a subtle, so take a good look at the image before you decide to do it; but it will still be a really cute snowman. Don't be afraid to try creative solutions as you grow as a stitcher. I love taking elements of a design and using them in different ways. Just remember - this is ONLY for hobby / personal use. Designs have copyrights.

There are some stitchers who don't care for stitching backgrounds for these "cover-all" pieces. Doubt they would even hesitate to pick their own background fabric and stitch the main design plus details... Love this snowman! :)
