Wine and Lemons, whole new thing
Kristi, I think the floss quantity suggestions are way off. Could be wrong, but that whole background
is very dark, and yet only one skein of DMC 939 is listed. Even though the 310 is also listed, there is only 1 skein of that listed, too. Given the dimensions of the project, I think that must be way off. I checked a couple of websites, but had a tough time finding one with the floss list. This one did, and they list 8 skeins of 939, and 3 skeins of 3865. http://www.sewandso.co.uk/Products/Wine-and-Lemons-Chart-Book__MYS-KL-01.aspx

I might be wrong (well, THAT would be no big surprise!), but it might be worth checking. Maybe?

Hello ginnaB,

I got the same thing as well! I am not sure what is going on there but I will send it off to our IT team and have them fix it. It should be fixed before the end of the day here. Thanks for letting us know :) And wine is what keeps us all sane so never give that up! Lol!

Thank you Kristi! And thanks for not banishing me and my wine bottle via the judgmental express! My best friend since elementary school in the early 1960s recently moved close to where we are in Florida. Lunch and a bottle of wine have been part of our regular visiting back and forth ritual going back to the year we were "legal". I'm working on putting a trio of wine themed pieces together for her for birthday next year. One is done, the second is the Imaginating "Let's do Wine" and I'm now looking for the third pattern. I was having trouble figuring out how snowmen would fit into that mix, and it just wasn't working for me--they weren't even waving beer bottles around. Not good. So I raise a glass to you for whatever "fix on the pix" might be do-able. Cheers, and thanks again!

Enjoy your "sharing"! And think of all of us! :)

Why, vcess, I think of y'all every day--a most companionable and informative group with plenty of smarta__es thrown into the fray (pun?) to boot. Thank you for making me laugh every day. I'm reminded of the title of the old Firesign Theater album (from late 60s? early 70s?)--"We're All Bozos on This bus!"

Reminds me of a sign in the courthouse elevator, rapidly removed:

THERE'S A CLOWN IN EVERY CAR!

I am so enjoying getting to know you all. I live alone - well I do have a dog - and my needlework has always been rather a solitary affair. However, several weeks ago I began going to a local needlework shop that has extended hours on Tuesdays where a group of ladies meet & stitch and now I'm getting to know you guys as well. Each day I come home from work I look forward to what you all have been chatting about.

Sherry...
So glad you enjoy checking in and laughing with us! I honestly feel like my day is incomplete if I don't chdck in with this group. There are no LNS's here and even the senior center does not have stitching group. Today has been very stressfull and I enjoyed your note so much.

ginnaB,

The wine trio you're doing sounds so awesome!! What a great gift for your friend :) I love the idea of the meaning behind it as well. It makes it that much more special for you both! I think the image is fixed now...or it least it was when I checked it?! lol! Hope you found the 3rd design for your project :) Happy stitching!!
