Snow
If I were to use blending filament to make the snow shimmer would I be making a mistake?

Not at all. I would do it too. Instead of using one strand with the snow color, I would use two strands of blending filament with the snow color. Maybe not use it all over, but intermittently. Depends on how you want it to look. Go for it!

I agree with Nita. Got for it! Decide how much you want that snow to sparkle or you can even do it intermittently over the snow in different areas. I will sometimes use one strand of DMC white floss and one strand of blending filament together to make snowflakes coming down to sparkle. I also do it to any stars in certain projects. Do it the way YOU think best and it will come out beautiful!!

I've all but decided to add blending filament for the snow. I think I'm going to do it close to the house and chimney. I just hope it looks ok. Should I do it on the rooftops as well?

Definitely, I would, if it was mine. (I like sparkle & shimmer in the snow)
