If stitched on 14 count fabric, which I believe is the fabric count recommended for all Christmas stockings, it will be 9.6" wide by 14" high. You would need fabric tone 2-3inches wider than the finished size fr safety for seams and finishng. These are really nice to do. In the six patterns I have, most will be roughly 10"x11" wide by 14-15" high, so there will be no argument about who got the bigger stocking! The stitch count is 134W x 197H. I used 14 count on all eignt stonking patterns that I have.

I got the size info from the Stoney Creek Designs website at stoneycreek.com
They produce clear charts with nice color photo on the cover, a black and white counted cross stitch chaart and instructions for fnishing. You are lucky that ECS sells this as a pattern. Stoney Creek only issued it in the August 2008 issue of their magazine, which is sold out. Lucky because you won't have to search all over for the magazine!

I am not an employee of ECS, just another stitcher in this chat group...
