appropriate gift
I am looking at this item to do for a teenage girl's confirmation gift. Would this make an appropriate gift?

I think this would be a lovely gift for a girl's confirmation. It's something she could cherish.

I agree this would be a beautiful gift. You could even personalize it by adding her name and the date of her confirmation.

What is the girl's personality? Like does she like going to church? Does she actively participate? Or, is she having a confirmation because her parents want her to? Maybe you should ask her mother if the girl would want to hang it in her room.

This is an extreme example. Several years ago I attended a Bar Mitzvah. I knew up front the boy really didn't want to be there. He was so rude and obnoxious that I felt like asking for my gift back.

This would make a lovely present. Maybe you could even enclose a cross stitch or embroidery kit that has something she enjoys on it (like pets or flowers or music or sports or a Christmas ornament) that she might enjoy learning how to do?

What a gorgeous pattern! My concern would be stitching it as a gift for a teenage girl. You might want to at least take a look at her bedroom and see if she leans towards feminine colors and designs or primary colored posters. And if she has space in her room to display it. And if she might want to display it.

It would be a shame to invest inn such a lovely piece (time and only) only to discover that it wasn't her taste at all. She may appreciate the lovely gift (eventually) because YOU made it. I would do a bit of exploring first: It deserves to be treasured and displayed not stuffed in a drawer.

....crossing my fingers that it works out for you both.
