Fabric
The description says to use 35ct corn silk linen, yet you don't have this as an option to purchase. What can I use instead?

The Cornsilk linen is by Weeks Dye Works. It is available on several other sites, 123 Stitch and Traditional Stitches for example.

Traditional Stitches is in Canada, but with the exchange rate now, prices are comparable.

It's a soft, hand-dyed linen in a pale yellow if that helps.

What would you suggest for this pattern from your site? I don't think I want yellow, but I want it to look vintage.

Just to clarify...not to be rude...MissKitty does not work for ECS. :)

When I have wanted my fabric to look old, that is, antique. I have used a product called Distress It, described as an "antiquing solution for punchneedle and other fibers." It comes in a spray bottle and worked well. I have also 'antiqued' fabric by using tea as a staining agent. I'm sending you 2 'how to' links.
