Are these all 6 the same or do they come in a variety pack? Thanks, Kathy

Hello,

This is just one kit. Where it says "Product Collection: "I Love" Charmed Ornaments (6 items)" to the right of the picture, that's just letting you know what collection they are a part of in the Mill Hill kits. There are 6 kits in the entire collection and this is just one of the kits in that collection. Hope that makes sense? Thank you.

Each of the designs are different. They're like little ornaments for a twig tree or wreath. They work up nicely, are on perforated paper and each kit includes everything you need. I usually back these little things with a pretty 2-sided paper for scrapbooking.

Do they come with a color pattern like cross stitch?

They come with a black-&-white chart like all other cross stitch patterns, with key symbols for the colors and bead placement. The kits are complete with DMC threads (unsorted), pierced paper, and bead packages. They're not hard, but not for a beginner. These smaller ones work up fast!

So they can be done on cross stitch fabric also with no problem, right? What a great site you have. Hope to be purchasing some soon. Thanks again, Kathy

I can't take credit for the site. I'm just a stitcher myself who lives in Northern Colorado. This chat room is monitored by the staff during the week, but mostly it's all of us others here who have wide and varied stitching experiences. The main thing is to do something you enjoy. We all have had projects that frustrate us... that's when it's a good time to take a break and pick up another project of a different style. Just never give up!!

So I guess my brain isn't working well cuz I don't understand. If I buy the kit, does it include all 6 different patterns? I want to make counted cross stitch greeting cards on aida fabric but I'm not sure if I get all 6 different patterns and is there any way to tell how many stitches each pattern measures? I'm sorry I'm being so difficult but I need to understand so I know if this is what I'm looking for. Thanks again so much for your patience. Kathy

Your brain is fine Kathy; you just have to get used to the lingo. You would get 1 kit for this particular ornament.

In the very 1st response from Kristy, she references "Product Collection." If you want to see the other ornaments in the series, go to the top of this string of messages, click on Love Halloween under the picture. Now do you see Product Collection? Click on "I Love" Charmed Ornaments and you will see the other ornaments in this series. If you wanted any of them, they each have to be bought separately.

This is a very cute ornament as well as the others. $6.99 might seen a little pricey but not when you consider that everything you need is included, even a beading needle. If you were doing it on cloth instead of the perforated paper, you would still need a beading needle. I've made several Mill Hill kits and they always turn out so nice. I hope this clears things up for you and I guess this is where I should make my disclaimer; I am not an employee of ECS, just a stitcher that enjoys this message board.
