KATYE -- Why are you questioning about 817 and not other colors? The last page of your Artecy pattern should have a list of how many stitches of each color are used. I believe that I read somewhere that you should expect to get between 1200 and 1500 stitches per skein of floss.

Are you nervous about running out of this particular color? If you are ordering supplies on-line get an extra skein, just in case. If you have a local Michaels just stop by when you are in the neighborhood. Worse case -- I will send you a skein.

Katy, go back to the floss list that Kristi put with the project picture and, as Nancye stated, there should be a floss amount with the pattern. The floss list for this pattern shows a few different floss colors with more than 1 skein of floss being needed. :)

BERMUDA -- Kristi posted the information that was on the Artecy pattern. Katye should have that same information on the pattern she already has. In fact, she has more information because Tereena includes a key showing how many stitches for each color.

KATYE -- try not to overthink what you are doing. We are not the Cross Stitch Police. Nothing bad is going to happen if you make a little mistake. Someone is usually here to give helpful hints and encouragement.

Thanks ladies. I hadn't noticed that the number of skeins needed are listed on the supply list. I guess that's because I've never done a project that used more than 1 skein. I do intend to change that soon as there are several Heaven and Earth designs I have my eye on.
