What's included?
it appears that the material and threads needed to work this cross-stitch design must be ordered separately. Is this correct?

Yes, you are correct. If you click on the title under the picture, it will take you to another screen. Where is says "Category", if you see it says Pattern, then all you are purchasing is the pattern. You need to buy the floss, which listed below the picture on this sub-menu and the fabric.
All lot, but not all, stitchers just buy the pattern and have their own "stashes" of fabrics and floss that use.
Marty Bell always has beautiful designs with a lot of detail!

Oh, I'm not an employee of Everything Cross Stitch. I'm one of a diverse group of stitchers that frequent this "Chat" messageboard! :)

My thanks for your guidance! (You can tell I'm new at cross-stitching!)

Welcome to the Chat You will learn a lot here.

How new are you to cross-stitching? This is definitely not a good choice for a newbie or a beginner. Pick something smaller and with only a few distinct flosses

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Just today I learned something new from this Chat.

Wow! When I re-read my first post, it sounds like I had too much to drink for lunch!!!

Have to agree with Nancye G this is not a good choice for a new stitcher. This is more for an intermediate to advanced stitcher. Welcome to the chat room here. Come back often and post or ask questions.
