18 ct only?
I really like this pattern--Can this pattern be done with 14ct, I can't see using 18ct. If so, what size fabric should I use?

Hi,
This stitch count for this pattern is: 124 wide x 88 high

If you were to do this pattern on 14-count fabric stitching OVER ONE square, your stitched area size will be: 8 3/4 inches wide x 6 1/4 inches high

If you add 3 inches extra fabric on EACH side on pattern for mounting and framing you will need a piece of 14-count fabric that is: 15 inches wide x 12 inches high.

Hope this helps!

FYI -- If you decide to use 14ct fabric your finished stitching will still look great. However, you will be using more floss. If you have a stash of flosses from other flosses this won't be a problem. I would hate for you to run out a particular color with only a few more stitches to go. Consider doubling your floss purchase if you don't have a craft store nearby.

Call me stupid but I cannot figure out what those black things are. They look like targets we used when I was in the Army at the rifle range. Are they?

Ooops, I looked for the 5th time and think it might be buggies from behind.

I thought it looked like a scene of Amish buggies

You're probably right, Nancye. Thanks. It's been at least 20 years since I've been in Amish country.
