Very pretty! Love this! I love butterflies, and actually have this pattern too! I haven't done it yet. But, glad to see how pretty it will turn out! You did great work! Although I did a 3 year correspondence course in embroidery in the 1980's (when I was living in Papua New Guinea), I hadn't done any until 2014. So I felt like a real beginner - but I'm really proud of my latest effort. Thank you so much for all your praises.

Your project is beautiful..enlarged it looks like cross stitch not embroidery. I love cross stitch because no more finger sticks. I never mastered a thimble:)

Yes it is cross stitch - I have always used the word "embroidery" to mean any sort of needle work.

When you're nose down working on a project for months on end you begin to think it's not that great and see stitches that aren't as perfect as you would like. I want to thank everyone for their feedback, wonderful praises and encouragement.
