Beads
What would you use to sew on the beads? I don't see it anywhere in the directions. Thanks for any help you can give

I use sewing thread in a color that matches the background.

Or you can use a floss color that matches the bead.

You may prefer either, as, since I tried going thru the bead, then splitting the threads to each side of the bead...cradling the bead in place...I like blending with the fabric. Sorry if I make no sense...in a hurry... :)

I also use a thread that matches the fabric color. I would advise you to go to you tube and enter: "How to apply beads to cross stitch". There are various videos you can watch on how to actually apply the beads....then you can pick what works for you. I found one that is pretty quick to watch by the editor of "The World of Cross Stitch Magazine". She is good!!

You would use a beading needle. Most are really long but you can find short ones too. Hope this helps.

Good grief, Summerdawn! :) Good to know somebody replies to the question and not just the "replies"! LOL

Yes, dmtk, there are even large-eyed, collapsible needles to accommodate different size beads. :)

I learned about "beading" needles the first time I tried to stick a cross stitch needle through the hole of the bead. :)
