color for lettering
I am almost done with this wonderful cross stitch, but I am a little confused by the directions and the picture for the lettering. the directions seem to indicate that all the letters are the grey color, but the picture it looks like only the "FOOTPRINTS" is in grey and the other letters are in the dark taupe and I am just unclear on this part. Anyone know ??

Sometimes a pattern has a mistake in it. You could just do one letter in the grey color and another letter in the beige and decide which looks best to you. Personally I think the word "Footprints" is done in a darker color to catch your eye. We won't call the cross stitching police---you could stitch what looks better to you.
