resizing
Can this silky terrier pattern be made smaller? If so, how would it be done? I am asking as I want to do three by this Christmas.

If you did that on 18 count the design size will be 7.4 by 10.9:) Is that small enough?

thank you Dancy Frog
how small can it go without distortion? I love the pattern, but I have 3 to do.

If you use 18 ct fabric your pattern will not be distorted it will just be smaller. Also, it will still have the same amount of stitching.

Contact artecy.com. That is who created the pattern. Tereena might be able to make some adjustments for you

Hi Beth,

This is our design. We do have a Mini version of this pattern which is just the Silky Terriers head. The Mini pattern is 90 x 100 stitches. Unfortunately we have not added it to the Everything Cross Stitch website as yet. You can buy it from our website as a download or printed pattern. If you do a google search for mini silky terrier artecy shop you will find it. I could add it here, but it will take a couple of weeks to come through, but if you would me to just let me know.

If we resized this current chart for the whole dog, it will lose alot of detail, you would be best to stitch on a higher count as DancyFrog suggested, you can stitch on any count you like, there will be no distortion it will just make the finished pattern smaller.

Please let me know if you have any further queries.

Thanks and Best Wishes
