Yes the backstitching, i've been having this pattern since i was in the 6th grade. I missed placed the instruction sheet. I have a legend off the right side of my pattern. I was wondering if the backstitching was in black or a darker color.

Black can be little harsh, although it is used it many projects. I just finished one and it was backstitched in DMC 838, a dark brown.

I will try my best to see what color fits in the best. Thank you

Thank you so much, i am really excited to finish this little girl. I started her once when i was in the 6th grade and made a lot of mistakes. Now i am married and wanted to start on her with a fresh start. Thank you for helping me out. She looks beautiful.
