Fabric
I would like to do this project but my eyes aren't up to doing it on linen...could you let me know how much Aida 16 count fabric would be needed for this?

Hello,

I used the Fabric Calculator that is located to your left under the Search box to get the following information. You will see the Fabric Calculator link when you are the page that has the product details...such as the price, floss list, etc.. Based on the stitch count for this design of 168w x 203h here are the fabric dimensions for a 16ct. fabric:

Fabric Size: 15" x 17" (16ct fabric)

We recommend at least 2 inches of extra fabric surrounding the design. A piece of 15"x17" fabric will give you 2.3" of fabric on the left and right, and 2.2" on the top and bottom.

The stitched area will be 10.5" x 12.7".

If you would like more room on each side for framing, then you could go bigger than 15" x 17" but that's up to you :) Hope this helps! Thank you.

When any stitcher admits that she can't see the higher count, I almost always pop in and suggest magnifying glasses. I personally swear by MagEyes, but there are other brands too. You can find many stitcher comments by typing MagEyes in the Search box.

I couldn't stitch at all this spring until I bought these.
