Exact Size
It says it is 6" and I presume that this is from end to end; however, I would like to know the size of the space in-between the end fittings. I don't see anything to indicate the maximum size the hanging can be. Does anyone know?

The inside is just 6 inches.

stp9, the top and bottom of the bell pull are not connected. Meaning, you have the top piece and then the bottom piece. You just attach to each end of your project. So there is no actual size or limit (length wise) to what you add this to.

You can make your project as long or as short as you want. Upon completion you attach the top and bottom. You are only limited as far as the width goes.

I think what stp9 is asking is the maximum 'width' the bell pull can be. It says that they are 6 inches, but is that from the very end of the rod or between the finials (end caps)? The fabric can't go out to the very end of the rod. It can only go where the chain connects to the rod. Sorry, I don't know where it is measured from, but Kristi from ECS might see this question and respond. You might try contacting ECS Customer Service directly and ask them. I would have the same question. Hope you get an answer!

You are absolutely correct, Bruce. I was wondering about the width myself. I'm thinking that 6" means the entire thing - finials or whatever they are called, included. If that is the case then it's a very narrow motif the stitcher is limited to.

Hello,

We get this product from Wichelt and unfortunately, the only information they give us on this product is the 6" sizing detail. I can get one ordered from them and once I get it in, I will be able to look at it and see the sizing dimensions for myself. Because I have to get it ordered from them, it will be a few days before I respond with some answers. Sorry for the delay but thank you for your patience :)

Hello stp9,

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you on this post. I was out of the office on Friday when this product came in and I am just now getting to look at it to answer your question.

There is actually no maximum length vertically for the bellpull. You can make it as long or as short as you desire. It comes as two separate pulls...one for the top that has the chain included on it and the other is the bottom piece that doesn't have a chain. Horizontally, the fabric piece has to be 6 inches to fit on the bell pull rod but vertically, you can make it as big or as short as you want. I hope this helps?!
