Price
On October Opal Fairy the price for the pattern is $15.50, and the embellishment pick is $28.90, is that correct? The way I read it is the pattern is included in the embellishment price, so I do not have to order the pattern correct? My amount would be $28.90 plus shipping correct?

Nope, not even close. :)

The pattern is $15.50. The embellishment pack is $28.90 and it does NOT contain the pattern.
Add them together and it will cost $44.40 total then add shipping.

I have had to save to.do.patterns like this...buying the fabric one month, the pattern another time and the embellishment pack for a special occasion like my birthday. These are beautiful when complete.

I am not an employee of ECS, just a stitcher in this chat group hosted by ECS,.where we can share our hobby with each other.

The Embellishment pack contains only beads required to do the picture, not the pattern, or anything else. So- pattern, embellishment pack, threads and fabric must all be purchased to complete the design.

Hello,

The ladies that posted before me are correct :) The $15.50 price that is listed is just for the pattern itself. All of the other items needed that are listed right underneath of it have to be purchased separately. You can order them all together at one time but everything is priced separately, it doesn't come put together as an actual kit. Hope that makes sense?! Thank you,

I bought everything last year I believe and look at it from time to time. My birth month is October. :) The embellishments are so lovely. I hope that one day I get to stitch it. I am working on one of the Celtic "girls" now and am not making very much progress. There is always so much to do. I had all but forgotten about my mermaid patterns and the fairies. My eyes were bigger than my time left on earth when I bought all these goodies. It's fun to look at them.
My advice - stitch all the beautiful patterns while you are young with good eyesight. It allows you to use the fabrics best suited for the pattern instead of having to go with old folks fabrics.

Texas what do you mean about old folks fabric? LOL My birthday is in October also and I will be 69 this year and proud of it. All good people are born in October. LOL I have always used Aida fabric for my projects. Through the years I have tried many other types, but I always came back to Aida 16 or 18 Ct. fabric.

When I was young a person my age had one foot in the grave. I feel better now than I have in years especially since I have retired. I go to plenty of things like Wrigley to see my Cubs, NASCAR Races, horse races, and many other things. I know some day I will have to give up driving, but until then I am enjoying getting old. My late DH made me promise that I would not sit home all the time after he passed away like my mother did so I am keeping my promise. LOL My DSs say Dad would be proud of me.

Also like to say I love all the funny and sometimes sarcastic remarks we make here. I never take anything personal. If we can't laugh we may as well pack it in and go home to "meet God". Besides I have too many patterns to do before I go to the great beyond.

Hope everyone has a good week.

Ahhh, Syagel and Tex, you do my heart good...literally. :)

Sorry your tooth isn't better, Tex! Tooth pain, like any nerve pain is all-encompassing and bad -mood inducing. Hope it gets better SOON !!! :)

Saw Morad Sat...What a sweetie! Did not get by the Niche...after the drive down, all I could think of was to get out of that bra!! Spent about 6 min. in the Container Store. And I had a list!

And WOW! Texas is miserably HOT! The only thing that makes it bearable are the people!!! Not the drivers...that's a different category! :) What a blessing AC is! To heck with "the good ol' days"!!! :)

Sorry, syagel. :) I was referring to 25 ct Lugana over two and 11 ct Aida. I'd love to work on 32 ct linen but don't feel like working with a magnifier and am grateful that I can still stitch on 28 ct.

Yes, you are doing the right thing by enjoying life.

Thanks, for the info on the hoop. I have been so busy and will look for it this evening. Wanted to respond sooner but ......

VCESS, so glad that you were able to see Morad. That's always a relief. Yes, TX is brutally hot. I had to do some weeding (at noon, yes I wonder about my sanity) and the ground was like concrete. I had to use a little Roundup and won't be able to water until later. We are still under water restrictions and I can only use the sprinkler system twice per week. Hand held watering is allowed at any time but that is hit or miss in my case. Our lawn guy was supposed to mulch everything last fall - still waiting and tired of asking.
I hate bras with a passion myself and totally understand. If it's between removing that loathsome garment from my miserable body or visiting a cross stitch shop then bra removal wins every time hands down!

syagel and VCESS, I got the Stearns and Foster Nighthawk along with the adjustable bases - not what I had thought. Why do these things always feel so good in the store and when you get them home it's another story. My back is killing me. The pain that I've had on the left side of my back for the last three year (shingles) has now shifted to the center. I repeat here: Do not shop with your grandkids along. I just finalized the arrangements for colon cancer screening ( you know what that means) for the both of us. Paid for our MDVIP membership, bad news on that one, put stop payment on a hefty check for my grandson. He graduated from HS two years early and never got the card. The fee is $35 and is good for 6 months, whoever heard of such a thing? I am closing the account and opening one here. I also ordered CPAB supplies (they so try my patience) for DH, put on meat sauce, cleaned off my desk (most of it went into the circular file). Then I spent 20 minutes trying to find a movie for DH on Prime and endured this nagging pain. I am so relieved that I got my quota in today. I hope it's from the bottom molar and not some problem on top with the implant. The temporary just doesn't fit properly but I have no idea how or when I can make a trip to Southlake. I'm calling in the morning, maybe they'll see me on Friday. The crown won't be ready until 15 Aug. Can't wait that long or will have alienated all of my chit chat buddies and family.
I thank the Almighty every day for AC, VCESS. To heck with the good old days, they weren't all that good either. A special blessing on the inventor of AC and AC in the car!!!!
I am now sitting down to stitch a few minutes.
Just to be on the safe side, I feel like I need to apologize in the event that I have offended yet another person, I am just an achy old lady.
