This project
I have been working on this off and on for probably 5 years. I have the majority of it finished but I am having problems with the areas were the two pieces of the instructions come together. I have purchased a magnifying glass and that has helped some but I am still having problems. This is the first large projected I have attempted and I hate to quit and leave it undone. Do you have any suggestions. Thank you.

It may be too late for this advice but I will try and help you for future projects. ALWAYS make a duplicate copy of any pattern you buy. Put the original in a safe place.

When you make your copies you can enlarge the pattern to make it easier to read. You can cut and paste/tape adjoining areas. You can mark up the areas you have already stitched. If you find out you have to rip out an area of stitching you can make a fresh copy to work with.

I am not an employee of ECS. I am a stitcher who learned the hard way after ruining several patterns.

This Chat has a lot of stitchers who have lots of helpful hints and ideas. Don't be afraid to come back and ask for more advice.

Good luck finishing this project.

I have done stamped items and have had the same problem trying to match where they come together. Make copies of both sides. where the pictures come together match them up and tape them, then make a copy of that. I have even cut away the parts I have already done, which makes the pattern easier to hold.
I even fold the pattern up into smaller squares which helps me.

norma, Nancye told you all there is to say.

I don't fully understand but if your pattern is worn and you can no longer read it then you might try contacting the manufacturer of your kit and ask for a replacement. If you are having trouble transitioning from one page to the next then I would follow Nancye's advice and make copies, etc and line the copies up then tape the pages together. Once you have made the transition and are well on your way on the new page you can cut the already stitched one off so it won't be so bulky.'
Good luck.

It's a lovely pattern. I love hydrangeas.
