Yes this is a cross stitch pattern. U can go to Youtube and they will show U everything about cross stitching from A to Z. For the floss I always buy 2 at a time from the color that I need in case I run out. If I want more after I finish with the 2 that I had. I will go back and buy more.

This is a counted cross stitch pattern. The amount of floss you will need is listed right below the pattern on the order page. Kristi is very good about putting it there so you can see what to order.

I have a question for you. By regular cross stitch as you mention do you mean embroidery stitching? I not what do you call regular cross stitching? I am just confused and interested in what kind of stitching that you do.

This is indeed counted cross stitch. I think you mean by "regular cross stitch" that you need a pattern that is stamped on the fabric. If that is what you want, look at he rectangular box on the left side of any page on this site and click on stamped projects. You can than see all that is available n stamped cross stitch. Most designs that are developed recently ate counted cross stitch. I like it so much better than stamped. It gets easier with experience.

I am not an employee of ECS, just a stitcher who saw your question on this chat which is hosted by ECS.
