Hi!
I looked at this "Little Drummer Boy" pattern on Heaven and Earth design website and it did NOT states any specific COLOR of the fabric. What it did show is that the fabric is a 25-count fabric. That the FINISHED Size of the pattern is 7 1/8 inches wide x 11 inches tall. The stitch count is 180 wide x 257 high on 25-count.
I suggest you keep in mind that you add extra fabric, possible 3-4 inches on each SIDE of fabric so that you have enough material to complete the stocking.
It's my opinion (for what it's worth) regarding the COLOR of the fabric, that you might consider using a white or antique white 25-count fabric color for the project.

This stocking is completely stitched so none of the fabric will show when it is finished. That is probably why there is no color suggested - its totally up to you. I agree with Bermuda that a light color would be a good choice, easier with so many dark colors.
