Size of pattern
How long is this stocking pattern. I need it to be 16" long to match the stacked critters I made for the first grandchild.

I am working on six stockings and I feel your pain. I checked sizes, too, as the last thing Santa needs to jear on Christmas morning is "My stocking is bigger than yours."
This design would be 4.65" wide by 7.05" high if done on the 20 count suggested by the designer.
If you want it bigger, it would be 66" W x 10.07" H if done on 14 count.

Hope this helps! I would choose another design done on 14 coumt. Those temd to all ne close to 15" high and look good together. Just enter "Christmas stockings" in the search box to the left of each page.

I am not an employee of ECS, just a stitcher who daw your question on this chat.

Thank you...and yes that is exactly the issue...can't have one stocking bigger than the other!!! Unfortunately I went ahead and ordered it hoping I could add a few rows of red to Santa's clothes to make it match the first stocking. It might work...or not...I will figure it out I guess when the supplies arrive.
Thanks again for your response..it is very much appreciated!

That's a darling stocking! Lucky child :-)

Just some thoughts - you could also make the stocking taller by adding an additional "rick rack" border at the top, and changing the spacing a bit in that area. I think you'd need the additional rows you mentioned in Santa's tunic.
