STITCHING
When I stitch this on 14 Aida, do I stitch over 1 square or over 2 squares of the fabric? Thank you

If you are stitching on 14 count Aida, as suggested in this pattern, you would stitch over 1. That will give you 14 "x's" per inch. If you were to stitch over 2 your pattern would be absolutely huge. You would have 7 'x's" per inch, therefore doubling the finished size. You use the method of stitching over 2 usually when using linen or even weave fabric.

Terry,
That is a gorgeous pattern, what is the finished size, looks quite large? Looks like you will be very busy changing colors, are there many color changes in this pattern? This would be one I would love to do.

Well, according to the website if it is stitched on 14 Aida the finished size would be 16.5 by 20.1, but I think I will try it on 16 Aida so the finished size will be 19 by 22. I'm waiting to get the pattern in the mail and it should get here in a day or two. Yes there is a lot of colors so I will have to go shopping.
