Was wondering how difficult this piece is to do. I think it would be beautiful but I don't really want to start something that I would find to overwhelming to complete. The fact that it is all full cross stitch is encouraging. Thanks for your help

Depends on your level of patience.

The best thing is that it is full stitches only. No 1/4 or 1/2 half stitches. No blending of colors (i.e. one strand of #701 and one strand of #702)

The challenge for me would be that it is a large pattern. Not a project finished in a few days.

Challenge #2 is that there are a lot of colors and shading. You will be changing colors frequently and there will be shades that take very close to each other.

It won't be difficult but you will have to pay close attention to your stitching..

This is my non-professional opinion. I am not an employee of Everything Cross Stitch.

Dee, I think Nancye gave you some great advice! Many years ago when I first learned to knit, my teacher encouraged me to make a long sleeve, red, variegated, Mohair sweater...my very first thing, so, who am I to tell you that you shouldn't "tackle" this!! Having said that...Nancye is right, you will need patience as the design area is large. I think it is a beautiful picture. If you have not stitched before, and it were me....I would start with something smaller. The choice is yours, let us know what you decide. (I am just a long time Stitcher in the chat room.)
