pattern
Is this "sail cloth" a true cross stitch pattern type cloth since the description sounds like it is just stamped on the material? I do not want to have to guess where the stitches go and have it look irregular.

Hello,
The design is stamped on the sailcloth fabric that is included in the kit. I am not sure what kind of sailcloth Dimensions uses, they may use their own brand of fabric but per their description, the design will be stamped on the fabric and then you follow along the stamped design.

If you mean does it have holes like Aida cloth, then no....it does not. It would be like stitching on a cotton fabric. You do have to keep the stitches even yourself.
