Faces
I have done all my L&L Angels on 16 ct Aida. Does anyone know if this pattern has the facial options for fabric counts other than 32?

I googled: Lavender & Lace + Heavenly Gifts. You then click on the "Told in a Garden" Website and click on the design. I do not see any specific instructions regarding stitching the facial areas on one over one. I think that is your question....correct?? (I am just a Stitcher in this Chat Room...I am not an employee of ECS.)

On particularly the Chrustmas Angel, there are 1/2 and 1/4 stitches for 32 count. That is just impossible to get good results on 16 ct. But other patterns had had a couple of different facial patterns.

sbawcum, I understand what you are saying.......I love Lavender & Lace designs. I have made several and am now working on The First Angel of Light. I have never really given this a lot of thought because I fell in love with the use of Linen many years ago. I am wondering if any of our other stitchers have completed a design on Aida cloth (which a LOT of Stitchers use!) and applied the alternate method to complete the face of one of these angels. To me...it doesn't sound like it would look like it does on Linen. Interesting.....

I've done at least one L & L angel with the smaller stitch for the face but it was done on 28-count fabric. I agree that trying to stitch the face on a 16-count may not turn out; there may be other stitchers who have worked an L & L angel on 16-count and succeeded in "refining" the face
