Color
This pattern looks like it uses more reddish tones than the other GSD pattern available.
Does it really? My GSD has more red than beige or tan seen in a lot of GSD'S.
I don't want to have to alter colors on my own. I would probably mess it up.

Hello,

The colors used in this design are listed right underneath the picture under the Supplies tab. It uses a lot of browns and tans such as 433, 869, 3371 and 3857 being the most used. The only color in that sequence that has a reddish tone would be 3857. But majority of the colors in this design are browns, tans and beiges. Hope this helps?!

Any suggestions on changing some of the Browns for red? I was thinking about using two different colors in stead of two of the same to blend in more red.

Hello,

The following DMC colors (to me) have more of a reddish or russet tone:

301
400
632
975
3064
3776
3777
3830
3858

I think these colors could go in both a brownish or reddish category. Now, someone else may think these colors aren't on the reddish or russet side so it's completely up to you which colors you go with. But these suggestions could give you something to start with?!
