I live in rural Alberta and like you I have to drive about an hour to get to the nearest craft store. I love ECS as well and even coming across the border it usually takes a week or less for my items to arrive. And the shipping is generally less than gas into the city and back, haha! I've been ordering from here since 2009 and have tried other online retailers as well but customer service and selection are by far the best at ECS.

Glad to know like you I find their customer service better than others I love that they email you when it is shipped hope it is not to cold in Alberta for you my grandmother was born and raised in Montreal

I know all about driving distances to find what one needs or wants. When DD lived in Montana we would drive to Calgary and Lethbridge for shampoo!!! Montana offered very little opportunity for shopping. Thank goodness for ECS and Amazon. :)

ECS customer service IS THE GREATEST--has to be it's a GREAT site. I've always been very satisfied with every order I've placed. No room for improvement--IT'S NOT NEEDED. Thanks to all at ECS for your dedication to your job/customer. You all deserve an atta boy/girl.

Like everyone else, I have to agree. Though I don’t have to travel an hour to a cross stitch or craft shop, I am mostly wheelchair bound and this site makes it so much easier than packing everything in a car and I can spend as much time as I want “browsing”. Had a small problem with an order and their customer service is A1. What doesn’t everyone shop here?
