Is this a count cross stitch?
I am looking for something that is a stamped pattern. My eyes are not real good for a count pattern.

This is a counted cross stitch pattern. You will find all the stamped patterns carried by this site if you look at the tan-colored box with brown printing located at the left of each page, you will see "Stamped Projects" listed there. The rest of patterns in other areas are counted cross stitch. There are just not the number of stamped designs available anywhere.

Inam not an employee of ECS, just a stitcher in this chat group.

I think I am missing something here. I have never seen a stamped item - are they stamped in colour or are they stamped in black? If they are stamped in one colour them you would still have to count the stitches wouldn't you? I know this is probably a stupid question but I am curious.

Hello Deirdre,

Not a dumb question at all! A Stamped item is one that has the design stamped onto the fabric already. It's usually in a wash away ink so it will wash out afterwards. But instead of counting the squares, you just follow along the stamped design on the fabric, changing colors when instructed via the color key. It's kind of like a paint by number for cross stitching :) Hope this information helps!
