It's not a DMC floss. It's a Weeks Dye Works floss, so it's a specially over dyed floss and therefore more expensive than the DMC. (You can substitute a DMC floss for it, but it won't have the same effect.)

Bayberry is a Weeks Dye Works floss and it's a over dyed floss so it will be more expensive than a cotton DMC Floss. The floss listing is what the designer has listed on the chart so that is what we list on the website. You are always more than welcome to use another kind of floss in it's place but like the above poster stated, the finished look would differ from the model.

I am the ECS representative that answers questions here on the message boards during our office hours (Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm EST) and there are lots of other posters/stitchers on here who answer as well. Everyone is very friendly and very, very helpful to those with questions :)
