Are there other challah covers to cross stitch?
You have listed all the thread colors. To complete the piece, should I order them all?
How is the fabric bound or do I need to add fringe or a finishing piece?
Is the fabric linen or cotton or a blend?

I am not an employee of Everything Cross Stitch. You are purchasing the pattern only. You will have to purchase the floss and fabric separately. This means you will have to finish the fabric with fringe or other method on your own. What I am telling you next is MY Opinion. I am a Jewish woman who has stitched many Judaic pieces. I do not know your level of observance or how well you read Hebrew. I do not like this pattern. The Hebrew letters spell SHABBAT SHALOM which means Good Shabbat or Peaceful Shabbat. On the second line the letter that is supposed to be a MEM (m sound) looks more like a SAMECH, which is an "s" sound. The designer has taken her own creative license. There is nothing wrong with that. It doesn't mean that you should not stitch it. I just don't like it.

Hello sokoon,

The product is just the counted cross stitch pattern so any supplies you need will have to be purchased separately from the design book itself. The supplies that are listed underneath the picture of the product on our website is what is recommended as needed per the designer so all that floss that is there, is what you will need for the design. The fabric that is listed with the supplies is 14ct. White Aida fabric, which is a cotton type of fabric. If you are wanting to stitch it on something different, you are more than welcome to but we just have the 14ct. White Aida listed. Hope this information helps :)
