Printed or counted?
Good morning,

Please tell me if this cross stitch project is counted or printed. Also, does it use whole stitches or may there be half stitches and other types of stitches? Has any other customer commented on the outcome of this cross stitch project -- good or bad?

Thank you for any information you can supply.

Hello,

This is a counted cross stitch pattern and the chart will be in black and white symbols. There are only full stitches used in this design. It is stitched with 2 strands of floss over 1 on 25ct evenweave. Hope this helps :)

Looks like the information on this product is incorrect. The size they are showing is if you used 25 count over 1 NOT 2. So it must be that you should use 25 count over 1 and use 2 strands of floss. I am going to do mine on either 22 count or perhaps 18 count over 1 using 2 strands.

I have THE PAINTED CAT by this same designer...it is counted cross stitch, whole stitches only. Actually, you have your choice of fabrics, they give dimensions for several counts of fabric, aida and evenweaves. Haven't begun stitching yet, but I'm preparing my fabric (16 count) and girding my loins. :)
I have started THE STAINED GLASS SANTA, and, after a shaky start and change of fabric--I discovered I'm not a "2 over 1, 25-count person"--it's going great guns...lots of color changes and I'm excruciatingly slow, but it's going! :)

Cheryl, I agree! And the question should, at the very least, be answered! :)

We answer all questions asked that can be answered! Not all of us will answer, but somebody will! :)

If you go onto the picture and click on the chit chat icon it will bring up a chat dated March this year. There you will find all the details you require such as material size, stitching instructions etc. The company that puts this one out (there are three others in the set) say it is in full cross stitches only therefore the size and type of material is up to you. I have this one and intend to use 18 count Aida.

Please remember that we do answer all questions that we can answer. Some queries are beyond our realm of knowledge, but we try. I would have been so very grateful if a chat group had been available when I was a "newbie". I hope that we help folks get involved, or remain involved, with this wonderful hobby.

Hello,

I am confused?! What part of the question(s) did I not answer for this post....which is almost a year old?! Lol!

Our system is defaulted to set anything on 25ct to "over 2" so that's why it stated that on the dimensions but I went in and changed that for this design so that information no longer appears and the sizing dimensions should be correctly displayed now.

Thanks!

Hi folks

It's lovely to see so many people stitching my designs.

I think Kristi answered all the questions in the original post, but if there are any questions not answered, perhaps I can help?
