Hello, I have stitched several stockings over the years, both cross stitch and needlepoint, and have never received a design that allowed me to "change the direction" of the pattern. There may be some out there somewhere, but I don't know of any! (I am a Stitcher in the Chat Room...I do not work for ECS.)

I have reversed stocking patterns by making my working copy a "mirror" image. I usually have this done at a copy store where they have the big copiers. The only time I had a problem was with a pattern that had a number in the pattern, just couldn't get it to work right with the pattern reversed. The symbols will be reversed, but as I started working the pattern, it was pretty easy.

marshair, Great idea!! You see....I learn something new every day!! I am surprised though at this point in time that these companies don't offer a pattern for the "opposite direction"!!! I am thinking that someone might like to stitch a "pair" of these to be hung near each other!!
