What fabric do you suggest to use in place of the liner? Thanks.

Hello,

That's completely up to the stitcher :) Do you want to keep the color of fabrics similar or do you want to do a different type of color altogether?! What fabric are you comfortable using? Do you want to switch to Aida, Lugana, Jobelan or Fiddler's Cloth instead of using the Linen it calls for?! It's really all about what the stitcher prefers when switching fabrics.

I like Aida and like Fiddlers Cloth. What count and color fabric in each should I use? Thanks.

Hello,

The count is up to you. Aida comes in various different counts....10, 11, 14, 16, 18, etc...so that part has to be decided by the stitcher and what they are comfortable stitching on. Fiddler's cloth only comes in 14 and 18 on our website and it only comes in 2 colors...Oatmeal and Oatmeal Light. These two colors are very natural looking and obviously the Oatmeal light is the lighter shade of the two. As far as the Aida fabric goes, once you decide what count of fabric you want to use, you can choose your color. Each count has their own color selection....the colors we have for 14ct. aren't the same for what we have available in 16ct. so you would have to decide you count and then choose your color next. We have a fabric page here on our website:

http://www.everythingcrossstitch.com/cross-stitch-fabric-mrl-y2.aspx

From those pages you can look and see what colors you like based on what count of fabric you are wanting to use.

I will use the Aida 14 ct. in the Natural Brown. Will all thread colors show up on this okay? Thank you.

Hello,

Yes, I think that color would be light enough for the colors used :) Good choice!
