Size of hoop to use for working this piece
I've never worked with linen before and am wondering what size hoop to use for working.

Also, what do I use for the supplies that are listed as no longer available?
Thanks,
Jeanne

One of my works in progress (WIP) is a Lavender and Lace angel and is a large project, as most of them are. I have the linen mounted on a roller frame so that I'm not continually moving a hoop. I would do the metallic threads and beading last so that the metallic thread isn't split by the frame or, if you choose to use a hoop, by the hoop and the beads aren't crushed. As for any supplies not available, I would go to a local needlework shop if you can and see what they can substitute.

49mjfs, Hello! I stitched this design several years ago. I used a 10" Q-Snap frame for holding the fabric. Also....I stitched in the gold metallic threads as I went along. Using a Q-snap did not damage those threads. I applied the beads "totally" after I was finished with all other stitches. I still have some beads to apply...and hope to do that before I move on to another project here. It is a beautiful picture. Also....The Petite Treasure beads ARE available....they are just not sold on this website. You can order them from the ABC Stitch Therapy website. On their home page, click on to the catalog, then work you way into "Petite Treasure Braids." You will like their products I am sure! Good luck!!
