Disappointed
I bought several charts in Dec. 2015. However, I am just now getting to this beauty. When I opened the chart, I discovered the symbols were so pale that I would not even try to stitch this chart. I was disappointed for several reasons: (1) This was to be a gift for my granddaughter since this resembles her "Maxxie" and (2) A waste of approximately $10.00. I also ordered the Black & Tan Longhaired Dachshund and was very pleased with the shading in that chart.

Take the chart to your local copy shop!

Some printed items will fade over time, some may misprint due to low toner. You can always write to the manufacturer and ask for a replacement, but if you would like to get started, go to your local copy shop and see what they can do. I work as a designer at one in my town, and I have scanned items and used photoshop to alter the contrast/saturation and had great results on reprinting.

As craftydivakat suggested, you can take it to a local copy shop and have it scanned or copied to get a better printout. Or you could contact the place you purchased the design from to see if they can just send you a replacement copy. Fading sometimes does occur so it's a normal request for a replacement copy. Where did you purchase this design from? I can give you contact information if you need it.

It was purchased from Everything CrossStitch. Since it has been a year, there return policy indicated returns must be within 30 days. I really do not want to invest any more $$ for return/restock. If I can still get a replacement it may be worth it. However, my fear is that all booklets have this poor quality of print.

Yes, that is our standard return/refund policy but we are always willing to work with our customers who purchase products from our website to correct any issues. If you want to contact our Customer Service department either via phone or email and let them know that you need a replacement for the pattern you purchased from us, they will look up your order and can get a newly printed sent to you. You can reach us via email at sales@everythingcrossstitch.com or via phone 800-800-8517 Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm EST. I will let them know about your issue as well.

They can look up previous orders by your name, email address or order number so giving them any of that information will be all they need. Thank you :)

I just wrote to the Wilton company who owns and distributes Dimensions counted cross stitch. I bought a kit a few years ago and have worked on it off and on over the years. The pattern has gotten worn and tattered by my own doing. I asked if I could purchase just a copy of the pattern because the kit is around $30. They were awesome in their response and are sending me out a complimentary copy of their pattern. Sometimes it worth asking you never know what the response could be!
