Hello,

This is a counted cross stitch pattern and not a stamped item. If you are looking for Stamped products, click on the link to your left under the Search box that states "Stamped Projects". That area of our website will have all of our stamped products available. We sell many different products on our website and the best way to tell what a certain product is, is to look at the “Product Type” information that is located to the right of the picture of the product on our website. Below are the categories and an explanation about them.

Product Type: Cross Stitch Patterns - means it's just a counted cross stitch design and the supplies will have to be purchased separately for it. Sometimes, the supplies are listed in the Supply list right underneath the picture of the pattern. So, if you choose, you can purchase the floss and the fabric for the design all at the same time. Or you can purchase just the floss colors that you need based on your stash at home.

Product Type: Cross Stitch Kit - means it's a counted cross stitch kit that comes with everything you will need to stitch that design. The name of the manufacturer for the kit will be given as well, such as Dimensions, Janlynn and Riolis.

Product Type: Stamped Cross Stitch Kit - means it's a stamped cross stitch kit and the fabric has the design already stamped on it. The floss will also be included since it’s a kit.

Product Type: Stamped Stitchable - means it's an item where the fabric has the design stamped on it but the supplies such as the floss and needles, etc...Will have to be purchased separately. This item isn’t a kit and you are just purchasing the fabric that has the design stamped onto it.

Product Type: Stitchable Items – means that these are items that you can actually stitch on. So these items will consist of bibs, towels, bookmarks, tote bags, etc… Designs and floss will have to be purchased separately for these.

Hope this helps! Thank you :)

maybe you should start with a medium piece that is not stamped until you get comfortable finding the middle. but too find your middle you fold your cloth into 4ths then on the pattern they have arrows going down and across you take your finger and follow until your fingers match up and wherever your finger is thats the stitch you start with. then on your cloth you unfold it and you go to the center of the fold and start with that square. takes practice. if your pattern is more than one page i tape them together to find the center. but you might try this with a smaller piece.

I LOVE this pattern. I don't know if I would attempt it. It is large and the colors are so similar to each other. I like lots of contrasting colors to work with...keeps me entertained.

Love the colors in this but it does look a bit daunting. Being a beginner you may want to start with something a little easier but then the other side of me says hey jump in with both feet! Nothing ventured nothing gained! Good luck whatever you decide!

Hi,
If you decide you would like to learn "counted cross stitching", I would suggest you go to the title "cross Stitch Kits" listed in the box to your left and tap on it. This will take you to different skits. If you tap on the lower one that says, "beginner kits" and tap your finger on it, you will get a choice of small kits with different designs that only use a few thread colors. the kits give you everything you need, floss, fabric, needle and directions, you just need a hoop. It is an excellant way to learn counted cross stitch without getting overwhelmed. When you complete a biginner kit, it will give you more confidence in how to do it. I wish you luck and enjoyment in whatever you decide! :)

Hi Louise, the colours in your preferred design caught my eye. I think it's too much for a beginner to take on. It might spoil your enjoyment but I have an alternative with the same colours which I have done myself and they would be fine for a beginner. If you Google search after Permin 14-7114 you will see what I mean. This is just one out of a series and not large. Good luck.
