Angel of Healing, week 1
Yay! I worked off and on this past week and still made my goal! I like the way she looks on the blue fabric and I'm getting used to working with it.

That's a lot of work for only one week. I'd probably make that progress in more than a month.

I'm so confused.

Not the same angel! I couldn't frog the head, and in the process of trying, I cut the fabric and then gave up. I will stitch it again because it's my favorite, but I will stitch it on blue spruce next time.

I started this angel last week. I started the other angel last year. They are on different fabrics. The other angel is Peace Angel.

Thank you! I thought my color memory had been replaced by Alzheimers! :)

jsimon, She is going to be beautiful! I love the fabric color also. I think that makes "all the difference" in how we feel as we progress in making a design. Several years ago I started a design, used a different color that the one that was suggested....I did start in the middle of the picture. All of a sudden I realized that I should look at the Angel's hair. There seemed to be "red" in it. When I put the thread colors on the fabric....I did not like it at all. I was amazed that the dress of the angel had vibrant, reds, blues, golds, etc. and the hair did not "blend in" at all. So, like you...I will remake it on a different color fabric...and will change out the hair colors before I begin. Isn't it awful to be so picky??!! LOL

jersey and j, if you have that much time on your hands that you can redo intricate patterns just because you change your minds about the fabric color then please come to my house for a while and stitch a few of my patterns! The Celtic Four Seasons and my Garden of Delight come to mind! LOL

You made great progress. I'm with Rosebud, no way could I do that much in a week. The blue is beautiful but then I'm a blue loving person.

Now I have to figure out who sells Bohin needles. I ordered them before but from whom? They are my favorite brand now.
