Kit question!
Hello! I'm a new cross-stitcher, and I'd like to make this for my wedding. Do you sell this as a kit? I am unsure of the amount of floss needed. Thank you!

This is not a kit. However, you can order all the supplies that you need from this site. Click under the picture and You will see a screen that tells you what you need. The floss list will tell you if you need more than one skein of a particular color.

You will have to add a package of needles. You may or may not want to purchase a hoop. That is personal preference. I almost always use a hoop. Other stitchers never use hoops.

You say that you are a beginner. Is this going to be your first project? If so, I recommend that you start with a smaller project. Something smaller and with fewer colors. You can find smaller patterns and/or kits by looking at the menu on the left side of this screen.

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. Hope you enjoy your new hobby of cross stitching.

Check back here if you have any questions. I am not an employee of this company. We are a group of friendly stitchers who are always wiling to give advice and opinions..

This is a very pretty project, but I second that it probably isn't a great project for a beginner, because it is fairly complicated and because it is stitched on 32 count linen which... linen can be tricky to work with, learning to stitch over two threads is a further concept to learn past basic cross stitch and on 32 count it's quite small. Maybe once you have a little experience stitching you can make this up for your first anniversary? I started cross stitch with a fairly complicated pattern personally, but I'd done stamped before and had a grandma who was a super expert on needlework to help me!

If you click on Cross Stitch Kits in the menu on the left and scroll down you'll see a picture in the lower left of that page that has a link to kits for beginners. There's a Home Sweet Home pattern in there that might be perfect for you and your new husband's new home together. :)

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! And I hope you find a project you love. This can be a wonderful (addicting) hobby!
