It does not say "stamped." The description says that a chart is included. That would mean it is a counted project.

If the project is the little house with trees and flowers all around it, it is counted. I believe you will enjoy doing counted when you have been doing it for a while. More of a challenge. Make you a copy of your pattern and as you cross stitch an area, mark it off with a pencil. You will see how fast the project goes by doing it that way. Don't ever mark on your original pattern. I did this same one and it turned out great. Hobby Lobby in my town does a great job framing and the price is fairly reasonable. You want to frame it nice. You put too much time into a project to not do it right. Happy stitching. Peggy

Hello,

This is a counted cross stitch design. We sell many different products on our website and the best way to tell what a certain product is, is to look at the “Product Type” information that is located to the right of the picture of the product on our website. Below are the categories and an explanation about them.

Product Type: Cross Stitch Patterns - means it's just a counted cross stitch design and the supplies will have to be purchased separately for it. Sometimes, the supplies are listed in the Supply list right underneath the picture of the pattern. So, if you choose, you can purchase the floss and the fabric for the design all at the same time. Or you can purchase just the floss colors that you need based on your stash at home.

Product Type: Cross Stitch Kit - means it's a counted cross stitch kit that comes with everything you will need to stitch that design. The name of the manufacturer for the kit will be given as well, such as Dimensions, Janlynn and Riolis.

Product Type: Stamped Cross Stitch Kit - means it's a stamped cross stitch kit and the fabric has the design already stamped on it. The floss will also be included since it’s a kit.

Product Type: Stamped Stitchable - means it's an item where the fabric has the design stamped on it but the supplies such as the floss and needles, etc...Will have to be purchased separately. This item isn’t a kit and you are just purchasing the fabric that has the design stamped onto it.

Product Type: Stitchable Items – means that these are items that you can actually stitch on. So these items will consist of bibs, towels, bookmarks, tote bags, etc… Designs and floss will have to be purchased separately for these.

Hope this info helps!

Another little hint - everybody probably know this. Thread the two loose ends of your floss into the needle - that makes a loop on the other end of your thread and you do not have to worry about loose ends on the back side of your Aida cloth.

I am about to sit down and work on a project that I have designed myself. Lazy Saturday afternoon. I am usually not good at design but this looks like it is going to work out OK.

Happy stitching to all of you. Peggy

Hi Peggy

Can you give us a photo of your finished design when you're finished. It sounds like fun making your own design.

Yes, please, Peggy, I, too, would love to see a photo.
