Hello! First time cross stitcher here! I am in need of some needles for this project but am unsure what size I need. Thanks in advance!

You will need embroidey needles, not tapestry ones. Be sure they have a larger eye and sharp points because usually you use 3 threads of floss for the towels. Just a stitcher who saw your posting....

Chenille needles have the large eye to accommodate the floss and a sharp point...they come sizes like tapestry needles, but the size would depend on the fabric count per inch. :)

V, I can't find the post but wanted to tell you that I loved the story about your FIL. Nothing like good memories.
Ah, Happy Hour! I remember those too. In retrospect, I wish that I had enjoyed many more of those. :(

Thanks, Tex! FIL was retired AF LTC and he had buddies dropping in for happy hour from all over the world. They were legendary...I remember one that lasted four days, but only because I did a supply run and only stayed a couple of hours...well, a couple of times. :) I was very young and you have to be polite! LOL There's a reason I'm type II these days! :)

V, he sounds like a sweetheart and I'm happy to know that you minded your manners! LOLOL
Four days! That's what I call a happy hour or is it "Happy Days"? How long was the recuperation process?
V, some things are worth it - turning type II for? Nothing like a life well lived.

I'm in the dog house. GD wanted me to pick her up from the bus yesterday. I couldn't due to my allergy situation. She pouted and only greeted Papa when we went to her house last night. Never mind that I spent a small fortune on her presents.

What recuperation? They all drove away with life-long hangovers and smiles on their faces...planning the next time!!! And you know there was a next!! :)

I hope that the next time happened quickly so that they could take advantage of the "hair of the dog" cure!

Waiting, waiting, waiting for the dealership to contact me. One of the cars is in for service. Hope that my luck holds and it won't need extensive repairs!

Ugh! Car upkeep!

I just got a letter from my auto ins company...they aren't doing personal insurance anymore...not cancelling my insurance, but shoving all of their customers elsewhere. Good grief!
