Mirabilia
Wow, I'm thinking about branching out into Mirabilia patterns! I've always loved this one, and her other garden themed designs. I really enjoy beading. I thought I might do the L&L Celtic Ladies, but I think I might enjoy the daughter's work more.

Simon, you won't regret it. Mirabilia patterns are beautiful. You do such great work, I'm confident that this will turn out beautifully.
Leave those Celtic ladies alone. The border is gruesome. I don't like repetition. Basically it's doing the same thing four (or five if you count Celtic Christmas) times. Is that what you want? Mine are resting in the stash. Maybe I'll do Spring because my GD was born in Spring. But first I want to do a table topper or a mermaid. If I get all four framed, I'll have to put out close to $1,000. I can almost buy real art for that. Well a nice print in any case.

What do you mean "almost"? LOL.

But this stuff is YOUR art! Unfortunately, I either have to do a half-a_ _ _ _ _ job myself or choose my "art" to pay a professional....the alternative is to put in a box and store the finished projects in a closet. Phooey. Too bad folks are demanding to be paid for doing a job I'm too lazy and ignorant to do! :)

V, I so value my digits. I'm not taking a chance of losing them by trying to frame something. I told you before that I don't consider this my art. I feel it's like painting by the numbers. Somebody else designed it...... I rarely give myself credit. Maybe I should try that for a change. Actually, I am trying to convince myself that I shouldn't stitch those Celtic women because it seems so daunting. Four of those gowns and no room for error. It's got to come out right at the bottom for the whole thing was a waste of time and effort.
Simon, I wish that you were my son!

Oh thank you, Texas! I would at least like to be your nephew! I actually like repetition, so I would probably enjoy the Celtic ladies, but right now I don't think I'll do them. I like so many of the Mirabilia patterns that I never even considered before. I get a nice chunk of money next week and I will buy the supplies for this Mirabilia project!

Simon, whatever the relationship, you would have to live close and help me stitch! Nephew, son, uncle, brother, I don't care. Heck, I'd settle for real good and helpful friend. I just assumed that I could exert more emotional pressure if we had a close relationship, i.e., mother and son. I use that with my daughter!

I don't know if diet sodas cause dementia but your sweetie does have a point. The sweetener used is supposed to be as bad for diabetics as sugar. That's how the brain registers it. I was told to lay off diet drinks. That's not a problem since I don't like sodas but I like a whole bunch of other stuff that's not good for me!
