Yes, it comes with instructions. I agree with the previous poster -- definitely not a project for a beginner. I've been stitching for 30 years and would not even consider stitching this beautiful pieces. For a first time project click on the "search" and enter Beginner. You will fin some very cute items. Look for something small and with only a few colors.

Warning!! Cross stitching is very addictive! LOL I would also suggest you start with a small project. Dimensions and Janlynn have great starter kits that explain the different stitches and have minimal colors so you can get the hang of things. The other thing to consider is whether you want to count cross stitch or do a stamped project. There are also a lot of good tutorial videos on YouTube that will help you along the way. And if you have any questions feel free to post them here, we all love to help each other.
