Hi! This is my first time purchasing and posting on this site. I just recently got back into cross stitch. I ordered a bunch of floss and fabric last Thursday. About how long does it take to ship? It keeps saying not shipped yet when I check my order. Finishing up one and wanted to start the next one. Hoping it arrives soon!! Thanks!!!

They usually ship quickly within a day or two. Assuming everything was in stock -- if you placed an order late Thursday; it would have shipped Friday or yesterday. You can contact them by clicking "Customer Care" button at the top of this screen. They have excellent customer service.

Hello,

I would contact our Customer Service department either by phone or by email to check on the status of your order. I can't look up order specifics without getting a name or an order number so when you call or email, just provide them that information and they will be able to look up your order to see if there are any issues. Our office number is 800-800-8517 and we are open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm EST and our email is sales@everythingcrossstitch.com and emails are answered 24/7. Thank you :)

I guess I will email them again too. I ordered mine 7/14/2017 late so I'm been waiting since 7/15 (it's the 19th). This is my second order and the first order was slow to be shipped. I emailed them about that one too. You do get an email once they get around to shipping it. The first order was lots of floss and beads so I kind of figured it takes a while to gather them. This order is mostly patterns-not little bits and pieces so I was hoping they would be quicker.

Something doesn't sound right here. It is my understanding that most order ship out within 48 hours, assuming a week-end isn't involve. Maybe one o the items is out-of-stock. They usually inform you about that.

Are you in the states? Do you have a PO box as opposed to a street address.

I strongly suggest calling Customer Service instead of eMail.

I understand about you anxious to start your next project. Once in a while I get in trouble because I start a new project before finishing the old one.

I am in the States. I paid via PayPal. The first time they told me they were having problems with one of their distributors due to a system upgrade. If I recall correctly it shipped a couple days after that. I will email them about my second order and hopefully they will contact the distributor and have it shipped out. I understand these things happen at times. As I said I've only discovered ECS recently -hopefully it's short term.

Hello,

Most orders do get shipped out within 2-3 business days (some the next business day if we have everything in stock but our general time frame is 2-3 business days) If your order is placed on a weekend and we have to order anything for it from our distributor, that doesn't happen until we get back in the office on Monday so orders placed on the weekends do take one or 2 more days to go out just because we aren't in the office during that time. If any orders have fabric on them, those order can take an extra 3 days to ship out because we more than likely have to order the fabric directly from the manufacturer. We can only keep so much fabric in our inventory due to our space so majority of the fabric has to get ordered and then cut down and then we ship out orders needing fabric ASAP! I believe all of this information is located in our FAQ Page under the Customer Care tab at the top too :)

Our distributor did do a major upgrade with their system earlier this summer and because of that upgrade, their shipments got behind and therefore we weren't getting any of our shipments on our normal scheduled times. They have been been getting better at getting us our shipments as of lately so that's a good thing and we hope that progress continues :) But on Friday, they sent us a shipment that wasn't even ours and shipped our order to someone else.....I am not making that up at all!! We honestly couldn't believe it and as long as I've been here, that's never happened. So we had to call them and get everything sorted out with that and they had to re pull all of our order and get it out to us. This took a few days (and I honestly couldn't tell you why on that part because I don't work there, lol?!!)

We apologize for any delays for orders and we completely understand any frustration. Just know that we are doing our best getting orders shipped out as quickly as we can once our shipments come in. I haven't been on the chat boards much as of late because I have been in the warehouse helping ship out everyone's orders :)

Sorry this is so long! I just wanted to let you guys know about the little "hiccup" we had with our distributor and that is probably why some orders are delayed on their shipping times. As always, any order specific questions should go directly to our Customer Service dept. I can't look up orders without getting personal information and no one should be putting that info on the message boards, lol! You can call or email our Customer Service dept and they will be able to answer any questions regarding your order. Hope this information helps and fingers crossed this type of "hiccup" with our distributor doesn't happen again!!

TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER -- Wow. Things have gotten a little crazy at ECS. Once everything gets straightened out I am positive that they will get better. Just wondering. When you sent in your first order did you sign up for their weekly newsletter? If you do that now you will receive a 20% discount on your next order. I've been on this chat for about three years. Mostly excellent reviews regarding customer service. Once again I would recommend calling instead of eMail.

I did not write the original post but like her, I have experienced slow shipping on both my orders. I sent an email late last night & they respond quickly. If they didn't I would call. Yes, they are still having difficulties with a distributor: "I am sorry, but we are still having trouble with the same distributor. They are shipping, but shipping very slow". It would be nice to get an order shipped within days but there's a hiccup at the time. I just wanted the original poster to know I'm having the same problem and the reason they gave me. She's probably called or emailed by now. PS. I didn't order fabric....Mostly Mirabilia patterns which I love that was on sale and a few beads. I'm not in a big hurry for them so I can wait as long as I know it's not been lost in the mail or UPS.

I have placed several orders from ECS and have been very pleased. On one order I included fabric and that took a little longer. I contacted customer service and it seemed to speed things up a bit. I usually order with priority mail since I'm not a patient person:) I also keep items stored on my wishlist so that when I'm close to completing a project, I can get the ball rolling with another order. ECS is the best!

Hi! I am the original poster. I called earlier week and they told me that it should be shipped by the end of this week. I hope so because I am almost down with my one project and need this stuff to start my next one for my son (Bobba Fett and Jango Fett). He doesn't know and I wanted to have it for him for his birthday in September. I will keep everyone posted! Thanks for all the replies!
