Stitching the Weekend Away!
So excited to be going to my parent's house in the Pocono Mountains and being able to stitch the weekend away. Temps are supposed to be in the mid 70's and sunny. My husband is checking out their heater which is on the fritz. We want to be sure it is working for them come the cooler late autumn nights. Even in the summer, you need a blanket when you sleep!
Have a great weekend and happy stitching!

That sounds so nice and cool. Very hot and humid in Cols Ohio.

Have a great time, I live in south Mississippi and it would be nice to get away from the heat and rain. Sounds like a enjoyable weekend with your perfect partner.

We missed summer here (the northernmost coast of California) because of the many lightning-caused forest fires. There are 25 fires in our county alone.
Days are, as always, 60°-70°, but no sun, no sky...just a tan overcast.
If I look out to sea, I can delineate water (dark blue-grey) then the tan above and far far above a ribbon of blue sky. The news is hard to watch, my stitchy bug is hiding, but the weather....oof!

You are probably busy stitching away right now and enjoying visiting with family. Hoping your parents' furnace(?) is an easy fix so you can enjoy the rest of the weekend doing more fun things.... :)

It was a very nice weekend visiting with my parents, playing dominoes and stitching! My husband and dad were able to clean the heater up and with only a few non-minor replacement parts needed, it will run as good as new. My husband actually designed the boiler that is in his house so fixing and cleaning it and getting parts is not biggy. But thankfully it was just very dirty and doesn't need replacing! I got to stitch some and chat with my mom as she did her crocheting. We also played the domino train game and went to dinner Saturday. It was very nice spending time with them.
