Saw your post and looked at the design. The DMC floss colors are listed so you could use them in place of the Classic Colorworks Floss. Good Luck.

Do you know the Colorworks floss NAMES and/or NUMBERS that have been discontinued?

I like the shading variation of hand dyed colors, but DMC will work. The colors I can't find are:Antique Mauve-Dark, Golden Brown, Shell Pink-Dark and Tawny.

Are you sure that those colors you mention are classic colorworks? I have a few of the hometown holidays patterns and they have a few classic colorworks colors and then some DMC colors. The fact that some of the colors are classified as dark (e.g. antique mauve - dark) makes me think that they are DMC colors and not classic colorworks.

I agree. With jscarff. These are DMC thread descriptions, not Classic.

Silly mistake on my part! In haste to list floss with the order I didn't see that a few were DMC! Not only that, but it was for the ABC SAMPLERS series from Little House Needleworks that I ordered at the same time. Thank you! The current work I'm doing is APPLES IN A TIN PAIL from Scarlet Quince. A little over 3/4 done and I had to stow away. My husband brought home 2 70lb dogs he found on neighboring road that had been dumped. They are rowdy and I feared an accidental tear on my hard work.
