Check out the fabrics on this site, and see if you can match one to your pattern. Because petit point calls for 22 to 40 ct. (per inch), aida won't work for you. Do you know what the petit point count is for your pattern? I don't think you'll be able to get anything smaller than 10 inches for the smaller side, though.
