Finally completed!
Just finished "Key to Wonderland" l was worried it wouldn' be done in time for Chrismas (it's a gift for dd). Off to the framer's tomorrow and then I get to chose one from my stash to get started on! It's the little things in life.....😜

Beautiful!
How long did this take you?

Thanks Mary! I started it in March and estimate 450 hours of stitching. (44000+ stitches)

Is this the one from GeckoRouge we discussed in the chat? Didn't you just start this a couple of months ago? Lovely piece! Alice is a favorite of mine, too...your DD is going to LOVE it! :)

That's a beautiful and impressive piece. I like the feeling of depth even though it is obviously a flat piece.

It is the one from GeckoRouge. When I talked about it a couple of months ago I was less than half finished. Seems to me you were the one that assured me I could get it done in time! Thanks belatedly for the encouragement!

Wow, what a beautiful piece of work. Your daughter will treasure it. Handmade Christmas gifts from the heart are the best!

I had better not let my DD, Alice, see this! It's beautiful, but I would have some big patterns crying if I did this before them!
I like the idea of a floating key and how it seems to hang between reality and fantasy!
Your stitching looks great! Would love to see it framed!
