Houmas House finished, and back from the framer...
I just wanted to share my latest finished project. I love stitching old homes. This is Houmas House in Louisiana.

Thank you all for your kind words - yes, I am very proud of it (mostly that I finished it, lol!). Unfortunately, it's not my house, though I LOVE these old houses. Houmas House was built in 1828, and is one of the plantations on the famous River Road in southern Louisiana. It is fully restored and open to the public. I have great memories of taking my mother to see it several years ago. Just had to share...
